Online karaoke with scoring
Sing any song right in your browser: backing track, lyrics, the melody as notes on screen and points for every note you hit.
Any song, not just a catalog
Most karaoke sites and apps only have the songs someone has licensed and prepared. With OnPitch you upload the song you actually want to sing: the backing track, the notes and the lyrics are made from your file automatically, in about a minute. Songs other people have already uploaded can be found in search and sung right away. How the backing track is made →
Scoring you can trust
Plenty of karaoke games score you on loudness or seemingly at random. OnPitch compares your pitch with the original melody note by note. Every note is rated Perfect, Good, Not bad or Miss, a streak of hits raises your multiplier up to ×4, and at the end of the song you see your points and the phrases worth another try.
The scoring is forgiving: small deviations in pitch and timing still count, and any singing earns points. But the more accurately you sing, the more points you get.
Lyrics that scroll with the music
Lyrics are found automatically by artist and title and scroll line by line with the song. The current line is highlighted, and three dots count you in before the vocal starts. No synced lyrics for your song? Paste the text and it gets timed to the vocal; the timing editor lets you fix any line.
Karaoke night at home
Open the song on a laptop or hook it up to the TV, sing with headphones or a microphone and compete for points. Every attempt is saved, so you can see who improved and by how much. Want to keep the moment? Record yourself over the backing track or make a karaoke video with lyrics as an MP4.

FAQ
Do I need a special microphone?
No, the built-in microphone of your laptop or phone works. Headphones help, so the microphone doesn't pick up the backing track.
Does the karaoke work on my phone?
Yes, in the browser on iPhone and Android — no app to install.
Isn't the scoring too strict?
No. The notes of the original are detected by a neural network, which isn't perfect, so small deviations in pitch and timing are counted as hits. Any singing earns points; accurate notes and streaks earn a lot more.
Can I record my performance?
Yes: turn on “Sing” and your voice is recorded over the backing track as a separate take. You can listen to each take and download the mix.
Can I sing in a lower or higher key?
Yes, shift the song up to 6 semitones up or down. The backing track, notes and scoring all follow.
