Privacy policy

What we keep

Your account: your email address and a securely hashed password — or, if you sign in with Google, your Google account ID and the email Google confirms for it. We also remember the site language you use.

Your songs: the audio files you upload and what we make from them (backing track, separated vocals, notes), plus the name, lyrics and settings you set for a song (hidden notes, vocal regions, lyrics shift, key).

Your singing history: for each attempt — the time, the part of the song sung, the points and the line of your pitch, so you can compare attempts later.

What stays on your device

Your voice is analysed in your browser. Recordings you make stay on your device and are never uploaded — only the scores and the pitch line of an attempt are saved to your account.

Some settings (volumes, latency calibration, the headphones answer) are kept in your browser's local storage.

Cookies

A sign-in cookie keeps you signed in (and a short-lived one is used during Google sign-in). These are necessary for the site to work.

Google Analytics cookies are set only if you accept them. Without your consent, Google Analytics still receives basic, cookieless measurements of page views. You can change your choice at the bottom of this page.

Songs you share

The link to a song contains a code of your copy. Anyone who opens it sees your copy of the song (its name, lyrics and settings) read-only, together with the email address of the account that uploaded it. Share links only with people you trust with this.

Processing results are shared between users who upload the same recording, so the same track does not have to be processed twice. The name, lyrics and settings you set stay yours.

Who processes the data

Hetzner (Germany) hosts the site and stores the data. Modal (USA) runs the GPU processing of uploaded audio. Resend sends password-reset emails. Google provides analytics and sign-in with Google. LRCLIB is asked for lyrics — only the song's artist, title and length are sent.

How long we keep it, and your rights

We keep your data while you have an account. You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account and everything linked to it — write to dmitry.eremichev@gmail.com from the address of your account. Processing results of a track may stay in the shared cache if other users have the same track.

If you are in the EU/EEA, you also have the right to object to processing and to complain to your data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above; important changes will be announced on the site.
